Cancellation Policy and No-Show Fee
(1) Cancellations of scheduled appointments must be made at least 48 hours prior to the appointment time.
(2) Notice of cancellation must be received during regular business hours (Monday to Friday, [8:00 AM to 6:00 PM]). Weekends, public holidays, and times outside of these business hours are excluded from the calculation of the notice period. Consequently, cancellations for appointments on a Monday must be received no later than the preceding Thursday during business hours.
(3) If this notice period is not observed, or if the client fails to attend the appointment, a no-show fee amounting to 100% of the regular fee will be charged.
Cancellation Periods and Liquidated Damages
(1) Cancellation of the agreed midwifery care is possible free of charge up to one month prior to the estimated date of confinement (EDC / due date) documented in the Eltern-Kind-Pass . The cancellation must be submitted in writing.
(2) If the cancellation is not made in due time (less than one month prior to the estimated due date) or if the care services are not utilized without prior timely termination, the contracting party agrees to pay a flat-rate cancellation fee (liquidated damages for non-performance) in the amount of € 600.00.
(3) The obligation to pay the cancellation fee shall only be waived if compliance with the deadline or the utilization of the care services was rendered impossible due to verifiable, severe medical reasons (e.g., permanent inpatient hospitalization).
